Coffee Brake: Daytona 24hr Coverage

The Rolex Daytona 24 hour race is this weekend! January 24-26 2019.

The Rolex 24 draws top teams and the best professional drivers from all around the world.

I always make it a point to watch the race coverage. I don’t stare at my screen for the entire 24 hours, but I try to make it a day when I work on the racecar and have it playing in the background. Coverage has been improving year after year, one way I always like to tune in is via the Magnus Racing webcast. They are run independently of the official broadcasts so they can’t show on-track action but there is constant behind the scenes perspectives and off-track banter. Oh yeah, and it’s run by the same guys from Dinner with Racers, so it is entertaining stuff. I haven’t seen official word that the webcast is actually happening, but I have a reliable source that said it is likely… so keep an eye out.
